Review:
As like all old movies, there are flaws. I especially like to bring up the flaw where they have the characters running extreme distances and then hiding in places with their breath so well maintained it seemed like they hadn't just worked their rears off to get away from people. Pushing those aside, I thought the plot was very interesting. I haven't seen the original so I am not sure how much better or worse it will be compared to this one.
I was definitely confused at first, but I think that was the effect that they wanted to have on the watchers, because as the movie went on I began to understand more what was happening.
Looking back on old movies definitely does show how much our entertainment industry has advanced, and I mean, good stories can never go to waste, no matter how old they are. I especially like the little plot twist at the end, it definitely threw me off!
As for recommendations, I'm not really sure. It was definitely a thing to pass time during the late night insomnia but I don't know if it really pulled me in enough to tell a friend to watch it. I feel like it would definitely be something to watch for two reasons though: one, to have a good laugh at the classic movies flaws that most films used to embody, and two, to embrace and comprehend this interesting story. Take from this recommendation what you feel, because I'm still not sure haha.
That's all for now...
