Review:

As like all old movies, there are flaws.  I especially like to bring up the flaw where they have the characters running extreme distances and then hiding in places with their breath so well maintained it seemed like they hadn't just worked their rears off to get away from people.  Pushing those aside, I thought the plot was very interesting.  I haven't seen the original so I am not sure how much better or worse it will be compared to this one.

I was definitely confused at first, but I think that was the effect that they wanted to have on the watchers, because as the movie went on I began to understand more what was happening.

Looking back on old movies definitely does show how much our entertainment industry has advanced, and I mean, good stories can never go to waste, no matter how old they are.  I especially like the little plot twist at the end, it definitely threw me off!

As for recommendations, I'm not really sure.  It was definitely a thing to pass time during the late night insomnia but I don't know if it really pulled me in enough to tell a friend to watch it.  I feel like it would definitely be something to watch for two reasons though: one, to have a good laugh at the classic movies flaws that most films used to embody, and two, to embrace and comprehend this interesting story.  Take from this recommendation what you feel, because I'm still not sure haha.

Review:
I expected this movie to be more of a comedy than it actually was, but I really like the movie nonetheless.  I don't want to spoil much, but I definitely like how his life seems to repeat over again, but he is proactive and is determined to fix it.

Definitely a good movie, that's all there is to say about that.  I would recommend it to a friend, and I am recommending it to you!

The Bling Ring (2011)

Alright, so unfortunately this movie doesn't have a Wikipedia page for me to retrieve my information, but there is a page on the [actual events] that the movie is based off of.

I really liked this movie, I thought it was great!  I would say that I wouldn't recommend it to anyone younger than 13, and I might not even recommend it to my newly teenage friends because, I mean it's a good movie but you need to be mature enough to take in the content without getting the wrong message from it.

I would definitely check this out!  I heard there is going to be another movie directed by Sofia Coppola that has Emma Watson in it and it is coming out sometime in 2013, but I personally like this one a lot!  I like the trailer up there, and hopefully when the new movie comes out I will be able to watch it and review it.

Review:

I definitely did enjoy this movie more than I expected to.  I was afraid of it at first because I didn't know what to expect, but it really isn't that bad.  It really does bring up the complicated aspects of intimate relationships whether they are heterosexual or homosexual or just plain old confusing.

This movie definitely is something to watch, I would say you should be AT LEAST 13 if not even OLDER than that, because the movie is still about sex, it is still sexual, and I wouldn't recommend it to my younger friends, but I definitely would, and already have, recommended it to my older friends.  I feel like it is something most people can relate to or at least find a way to relate to.  It gets into gay relationships between males and females, straight relationships that were either last minute flings or FWB that became more.

Yeah, this movie was definitely something that I don't regret and won't regret looking into because it definitely looks at all sides of things and I think it is an amazing movie, there isn't a story line, you are just seeing different emotional "post-sex" events between a multitude of different couples.

That's all for now...

P.S. It has been SOOOO long since I have done a movie review that the format probably looks a little different.  I am hoping to have another movie review up before the weekend ends!

Review:

I really enjoyed this movie.  I received multiple responses that were on each end of the scale: "My friend said this movie was terrible", "My friend said this movie was great".  I decided to stick to the review that said it was the "Number one movie of the summer" and went for it.  The plot confused me at first, and I began to enjoy watching an action movie which was tied together by a cute little love story.  The love triangle created tension throughout the group of friends that had you questioning whether they were going to stick together through everything or not.

I was confused by the name Super 8 because I thought it was about the hotel at first, I know, I am a little slow.  Then I was thinking maybe it's because there are eight kids or something, but after talking about the confusion with my friend and her mom, her mom explained that Super 8 was a type of film or recording thing, which made the movie make complete sense since everything seemed to be discovered through a camera.  It was also funny seeing all the old technology like Walkman's and things of that nature.  Brought me back, not very far back since I was barely part of it, but it brought me back to when I was like 4 or 5 years old.

I would recommend this movie to pretty much anyone.  It has action, it has comedy, it has a little love story, and it also emphasizes the fact that the military seems to hide things from us, so any person who is skeptical about that would also enjoy this movie.  It is rated PG-13, it has some language, so I wouldn't recommend little kids watching it, but it is a good movie for anyone who is old enough.

Review:

I think that this movie is socially awkward in a good way.  The aspect of Flint that is so not social adds to the cute awkwardness.  I don't really have much to say about this film except it showed the different kind of people you meet and it shows that you should just be yourself no matter who that is.  The courage of Flint shows him breaking through his shell and becoming a better version of who he really is without ever really changing himself.

This is a good movie for younger kids I would say.  I felt kind of immature watching this.  I mean, it was based off of a children's book.  But it is a good family movie too.
